Eskortowiec typu Jaskółka 1920-1921 (4 szt.)
Pierwszy
okręt oddany do użytku w roku 1920. Jest to pełnomorski eskortowiec
przeznaczony do ochrony konwojów i pojedynczych jednostek przed lekkimi
jednostkami torpedowymi, okrętami podwodnymi i lotnictwem nieprzyjaciela. Sylwetka
urodą raczej nie grzeszy, ale posiada bardzo dobre właściwości morskie, wielki
zasięg oraz stosunkowo silne uzbrojenie przeciwlotnicze i przeciwpodwodne, a to
dla jednostek tej klasy jest ważniejsze niż uroda.
Większe
jednostki o takim samym przeznaczeniu będą już klasyfikowane jako niszczyciele eskortowe,
ale na nie trzeba będzie jeszcze kilka lat poczekać.
Po
raz pierwszy w naszej flocie pojawia się na okręcie najnowsze „dziecko” ZEBR-y,
czyli armata uniwersalna 105 mm. Broń ta będzie w najbliższych latach
konsekwentnie wprowadzana jako uzbrojenie główne mniejszych jednostek i uzupełniające
dla jednostek wielkich. Działo będzie miało również zastosowanie w artylerii
nadbrzeżnej (a także – oczywiście na innych łożach – w artylerii wojsk lądowych
jako armata korpuśna lub najcięższa armata przeciwlotnicza).
Zgodnie
z założeniem, że jeden rok „blogowy” to jeden miesiąc realny, post winien
ukazać się najwcześniej jutro. Jednak z uwagi na dzień świąteczny zamieściłem
