Ścigacz torpedowy typu ST-73 1940-1941 (32 szt.) i ścigacz artyleryjski SA-20 1940-1941 (8 szt.)
Pierwsza
generacja nowej linii rozwojowej ścigaczy torpedowych i artyleryjskich. W
porównaniu do jednostek poprzedniej linii, okręciki prezentowanych typów są
znacznie mniejsze i słabiej uzbrojone, przynajmniej pod względem artylerii.
Posiadają nieznacznie większą prędkość maksymalną, ale dużo mniejszy zasięg,
słabsza jest też ich dzielność morska. Stąd też, przeznaczone są do operowania
w zasadzie tylko na Bałtyku, lub innych morzach zamkniętych.
Zgodnie
ze swoimi zasadami program nie pozwolił mi na „uczciwy” projekt; jego zdaniem
okręty tej wielkości nie mają prawa przekroczyć prędkości niecałych 14 w.
Dlatego też, projektując te ścigacze oparłem się na realnym projekcie
amerykańskich kutrów torpedowych typu ELCO
80-ft (PT-103). W porównaniu z
nimi, moje ścigacze są nieznacznie większe, ale trochę słabiej uzbrojone (no
popatrz, popatrz…), natomiast prędkość i zasięg mają porównywalne.
Dla
informacji Czytelników śledzących, a nawet kontrolujących raporty moich
projektów; aby w ogóle uzyskać raporty, musiałem wprowadzić fałszywe dane
początkowe, głównie prędkość maksymalną. Raport wynikowy korygowałem „ręcznie”,
jednakże tylko w zakresie parametrów podstawowych, stąd można znaleźć w nim wiele niespójności, którymi
nie będę wszystkich Was zanudzał; bliżej zainteresowanym udzielę informacji na
żądanie.
Jeszcze
jedna uwaga natury technicznej; dane realnego projektu ELCO 80-ft podają zanurzenie 1,6 m. Jeśliby to miało być zanurzenie
średnie, to współczynnik pełnotliwości tych okrętów musiałby oscylować w
granicach 0,15-0,17. Jest to praktycznie niemożliwe, podwodzie musiałoby się
składać w zasadzie tylko z rozszerzonej stępki; zresztą program nie dopuszcza wartości
tego współczynnika poniżej 0,3. Uznałem, że 1,6 m dotyczy zanurzenia
maksymalnego (np. dolna krawędź śrub) i dla swojej jednostki przyjąłem
zanurzenie średnie kadłuba 0,95 m (orientacyjnie od 0,65 m do 1,25 m).
Wprowadzenie
do służby prezentowanych jednostek „zwolni” z Bałtyku większe ścigacze, które
zostaną przeniesione do kolonii.
