Drugi typ
okrętów na bazie projektu uniwersalnego PU-900. Tym razem jest to pełnomorski
trałowiec z możliwością postawienia 30 min.
Jednostka
charakteryzuje się świetnymi właściwościami morskimi, dużym zasięgiem i
tradycyjnie już silnym uzbrojeniem plot.
Okręt
przeznaczony jest do trałowania akwenów oddalonych od baz macierzystych oraz do
towarzyszenia konwojom w rejonach narażonych na zaminowanie.
Przeznaczone
dotychczas do tych zadań trałowce typu Narew
(MSC-16 1922) zostają teraz skierowane do bazy w Portus Regius na Pembie i będą
obsługiwały nasze posiadłości zamorskie.
