Niderlandzkie kanonierki typu Odin 1929-1930 (3 jednostki)
Prezentowane kanonierki są
rozwinięciem typu Balder (post z dnia
29.01.2023). Od swoich poprzedniczek są większe, silniej uzbrojone, szybsze, a
także posiadają większy zasięg. Ich zadania pokrywają się z okrętami typu Balder.
Mimo użycia w architekturze okrętu
licznych elementów z kanonierek Balder,
sylwetka Odina sprawia wrażenie
masywnej, a nawet zwalistej; jest to efekt dziobowej superpozycji stanowisk artylerii
głównej na stosunkowo krótkim kadłubie. Konstrukcja okrętu uwzględnia miejsce
pod planowane za 2-3 lata stanowiska małokalibrowej artylerii plot.
Odin został zbudowany w stoczni A.F.
Smulders w Schiedam, a kolejne dwie jednostki typu w stoczni Curaçao Droogdok
Maatschappij w Willemstad. Wszystkie trzy okręty zostały detaszowane do Indii
Zachodnich; zastąpią tam przebudowywane właśnie kanonierki typu Koetei.

maszynowniach.

Na okręcie zainstalowano:

pociskiem HE 24,00 kg wynosi 19100 m, a przy elewacji maksymalnej 75o
donośność pionowa tym samym pociskiem wynosi 12860 m;

Bofors/Wilton-Fijenoord P1926, przy
elewacji 45o donośność pociskiem HE 6,50 kg wynosi 16000 m, a przy
elewacji maksymalnej 85o donośność pionowa tym samym pociskiem
wynosi 10600 m;

Do kierowania ogniem zamontowano
dalmierz optyczny o bazie 2,6 m.
