Niszczyciel typu Tsunami 1925-1927 (12 szt.)
Długa
seria niszczycieli, która ma „załatwić” braki okrętów tej klasy w naszej
flocie. Z założenia mają to być niszczyciele uniwersalne, nadające się zarówno
do zadań eskortowych, jak i ofensywnych.
Okręty są
niewielką modyfikacją typu Monsun; są
o 1 m krótsze, o 1 w. wolniejsze, mają 1 działo 120 mm mniej, ale za to
posiadają większy zapas bg, większy zasięg i dużo lepsze właściwości morskie oraz
silniejszą konstrukcję. Wymienione zalety predestynują ten typ do działań
oceanicznych, czy to w charakterze eskorty jednostek handlowych i pomocniczych,
czy to w charakterze okrętów towarzyszących wielkim jednostkom bojowym.
Uważam,
że może to być nasz podstawowy typ niszczyciela na długie lata i nie wykluczam
zarówno przedłużenia serii, jak i eksportu tego projektu do krajów
zaprzyjaźnionych lub neutralnych.
W
stosunku do Monsunów obniżyłem
nieznacznie wysokość kominów, chyba poprawiło to „urodę” sylwetki.
Wprawdzie
nominalny koszt budowy tych okrętów jest wyższy niż jednostek typu Monsun, ale biorąc pod uwagę stały
wzrost kosztów, można uznać, że jest to ekonomiczniejsza wersja Monsunów.
