Niderlandzkie ścigacze okrętów podwodnych typu R1 1930-1931 (6 jednostek)
Pierwsze
w niderlandzkiej flocie jednostki, wyspecjalizowane w zwalczaniu okrętów podwodnych. Zadania
swoje mogą realizować zarówno w ramach eskorty konwojów, jak i samodzielnie,
patrolując akweny, na których spodziewana jest aktywność OP wroga. W
przyszłości przewiduje się budowę dalszych okrętów tej klasy, jednakże
większych i lepiej dostosowanych do rejsów oceanicznych.
Wszystkie
jednostki powstały w stoczni Willemsoord Werf w Den Helder.
Opis techniczny.
Kadłub
Zwracają
uwagę smukłe kształty kadłuba, spowodowane chęcią uzyskania możliwie dużej
prędkości, przy stosunkowo niewielkiej mocy napędu.
Napęd
Dwa
silniki diesla Westoever o mocy 1200 KM
każdy.
Uzbrojenie
Na
okręcie zamontowano:
- 1xIx75/55
Bofors/Wilton-Fijenoord P1920, przy elewacji maksymalnej 45o
donośność pociskiem HE 6,50 kg wynosi 16000 m;
- 1xIIx13,2/78
FN P1919;
- 2xwbg
z zapasem 48 bg.
Opancerzenie
Działa
75 mm posiadają maski o grubości 13 mm.
Inne
Okręt
został wyposażony w dwie radiostacje oraz szumonamiernik.
