Ścigacz torpedowy typu ST-53 1938 (12 szt.) i ścigacz artyleryjski SA-15 1938 (3 szt.)
Piąta i ostatnia generacja
ścigaczy tej linii rozwojowej, która według mnie wyczerpała już swoje
możliwości. Następne ścigacze będą budowane zgodnie z inną koncepcją. Przy
znacznie mniejszej wyporności będą słabiej uzbrojone, ale mam nadzieję, co
najmniej równie szybkie.
W porównaniu z
jednostkami poprzedniej generacji, prezentowane okręciki są nieznacznie
większe, szybsze, a także mają lepsze własności morskie. Również lepiej
rozplanowano przestrzeń wewnętrzną oraz uwspółcześniono wyposażenie radionawigacyjne.
Uzbrojenie pozostało bez zmian.
Ciekawostką może być
to, że ścigacze te budowane były w trzech różnych stoczniach; w Ustce, Pontus
Regius (Pemba) i Rabaulu (PPTR).
Wraz z wejściem do
służby tych jednostek, wycofane zostały: Wilk
(MGB-3 1924) oraz Chart, Bulterier, Dog,
Doberman, Gryfon, Husky i Jamnik
(MTB-5 1924-25). Najlepiej zachowane: Wilk,
Gryfon, Husky i Jamnik zostały
sprzedane na Litwę, a pozostałe złomowane.
Nowe okręty bazują: jeden
dywizjon (1xSA + 4xST) na Bałtyku, drugi na PPTR, a trzeci w Namibii.
