Pancernik typu Władysław Łokietek 1923-1924 (2 szt.)
Po straszliwych mękach, kilku nieprzespanych nocach i lekkim
uszczerbku na zdrowiu (głównie psychicznym); oddaję w Wasze ręce od dawna
wyczekiwane dzieło. Dla jasności; różnica w położeniu wodnosamolotu pomiędzy rzutami
jest zamierzona. Jeśli znajdziecie inne różnice, to będą one tylko owocem błędów
i niedopatrzeń. Istotne i dające się łatwo skorygować – poprawię, tzw. „popierdółki”
– zignoruję, a pozostałe przyjdzie uznać za dopust boży.
Przechodząc do meritum; okręt „wyszedł” prawie 5 000 t
większy niż zakładałem początkowo, ale tym kosztem udało się troszkę wzmocnić
uzbrojenie i poprawić prędkość i zasięg. O szczegółach pisał nie będę, można
znaleźć je w raporcie. Ogólnie można uznać nasz pancernik za współcześnie jeden z
najsilniejszych tej klasy okrętów świata. Sądzę, że udało mi się „wyważyć” charakterystykę
jednostki i w żadnej dziedzinie nie posiada ona większych braków. Okręt posiada
trochę skromne uzbrojenie plot, szczególnie małokalibrowe (25 mm). Znając moje „normalne”
podejście do tematu, może to dziwić, lecz uznałem, że „na teraz” wystarczy, a
miejsca dla montażu dodatkowej artylerii małokalibrowej jest pod dostatkiem. Po
wejściu do służby Władysław Łokietek
został okrętem flagowym PMW, w związku z czym nosi na grotmaszcie odpowiedni
proporczyk.
