Uwaga, opis w dniach 14-15.02.2020 poprawiany i korygowany!
Po
małych niszczycielach typu Gustav Vasa
(1925) i średnich typu Karl X Gustav
(1929), przyszła pora na stosunkowo duże i silne nowe jednostki tej klasy. Poniżej
opis poszczególnych elementów okrętu.
Kadłub
Typowy dla niszczycieli, z uskokiem
pokładu górnego i pawężą rufową.
Napęd
Zamontowano cztery kotły w dwu
kotłowniach, licząc od dziobu: 2x6000 i 2x8000 KM oraz dwa zestawy turbin po 14000 KM w dwu
maszynowniach. Do prędkości raportowej zastosowano mnożnik zwiększający 1,10,
wyliczony na bazie realnego niszczyciela, prawie identycznej wielkości i tego
samego czasu budowy (brytyjski HMS Inglefield
1937).
Uzbrojenie
Artyleria okrętu składa się z:
- 2xII+1xIx120/50 M.1936, przy
maksymalnej elewacji 30o donośność pociskiem HE 24,0 kg wynosi 19500
m;
- 2xIIx40/60 M.1936, przy elewacji 45o
donośność pociskiem HE-T 0,93 kg wynosi 9830 m, przy maksymalnej elewacji 90o
donośność pionowa tym samym pociskiem wynosi 7160 m;
- 4xIx25/64 M.1932.
Ponadto, jednostka uzbrojona jest w
dwie 4-rurowe wyrzutnie torped 533 mm, dwie zrzutnie i dwa miotacze bomb
głębinowych, z łącznym zapasem 40 bg.
Jest to pierwszy nordycki niszczyciel
wyposażony w dalocelownik (baza 3,8 m). Jako pomocniczy/zapasowy, zamontowano dalmierz
optyczny o bazie 2,9 m.
Inne
Okręty charakteryzują się dobrymi – jak
na niszczyciel – własnościami morskimi, dlatego przewidziane są do operowania
głównie na Morzach Północnym i Norweskim. Także ich zasięg jest wyraźnie
większy, w porównaniu do poprzednich typów nordyckich niszczycieli.
