Podwodny stawiacz min typu Orka 1923-1924 (2 szt.)
Korzystając z doświadczeń zebranych w trakcie eksploatacji
poniemieckiego podwodnego stawiacza min Delfin,
zaprojektowano i zbudowano własne dwa okręty tej klasy. Choć jest to pewnym
anachronizmem, projektując jednostki w pewnym zakresie wzorowałem się na Wilku z realnej PMW. Są oczywiście też różnice,
które Koledzy zapewne bez trudu odnajdą.
W odróżnieniu od innych podwodnych stawiaczy min tego okresu, Orka wyposażona jest w tzw. aparaty
minowe, których działanie opisuję w jednym z komentarzy.
Uzbrojenie torpedowe (6 wyrzutni + 6 torped zapasowych) i artyleryjskie jest na
odpowiednim poziomie, a szybkość i zasięg dobre, choć niezawyżone.
W związku z wprowadzeniem do służby jednostek typu Orka, sprzedano do Chin wspomniany okręt
typu Delfin.
Ponieważ nie czułem się jeszcze na siłach poświęcić rysunkowi zbyt
wiele czasu, oparłem się częściowo na rysunku Wilka innego autora. W czasie rysowania widoku z góry, okazało się,
że rysunek ten prawdopodobnie zawiera błędy i precyzyjne uzgodnienie obydwu
widoków okazało się niemożliwe. Nie zdecydowałem się jednak na rozpoczęcie
całej pracy od nowa, więc proszę mi wybaczyć błędy i niezgodności.
