Stawiacz min typu Tetyda 1941 (2 szt.)
Ostatnie
już okręty zbudowane na bazie projektu uniwersalnego PU-600-1. Projekt ten
pochodzi z roku 1933, jest więc już trochę „przeterminowany” i jeśli powstaną
jeszcze jakieś jednostki na uniwersalnym kadłubie 600 t, będzie to już nowy
projekt PU-600-2.
Prezentowane
okręty są typowymi stawiaczami min przeznaczonymi głównie – jeśli nie wyłącznie
– na Bałtyk. Mają za zadanie stawianie raczej defensywnych pól i zagród
minowych, np. na podejściach do baz własnych, w rejonach zagrożonych
działaniami OP wroga itp. Minowanie ofensywne może być prowadzone tylko przy
silnej eskorcie, ewentualnie w porze nocnej.
Prędkość,
zasięg i uzbrojenie są – moim zdaniem – adekwatne do wyznaczonych tym okrętom
zadań. Po wyokrętowaniu min, można na „morskich boginiach” zainstalować dwie
zrzutnie bg i użyć te stawiacze min w roli pomocniczych patrolowców, o
zwiększonym w tym przypadku zasięgu.
W
formie ciekawostki można podać, że – w przeciwieństwie do innych projektów
uniwersalnych – wszystkie typy zbudowane na bazie PU-600-1 mają zainstalowaną
identyczną jednostkę napędową 4 484 KM, a więc i identyczną prędkość
maksymalną.
