Chińskie okręty podwodne typu Xintian Weng 1930 (6 jednostek)
Szybkie przeszkolenie stosunkowo
licznego personelu chińskiej MW, umożliwiło wprowadzenie do służby następnych
okrętów podwodnych. Tym razem są to jednostki zmodyfikowanego amerykańskiego
projektu „S” second group (S42 1924).
Modyfikacja polegała głównie na zwiększeniu mocy diesli (silnikom dodano po
jednym cylindrze), wzmocnieniu konstrukcji kadłuba, nieznacznej przebudowie
dziobnicy oraz wymianie konstrukcji kiosku na użytą już wcześniej na okrętach
typu Lu Ci. Ponadto, dodano podwójne
stanowisko nkm-ów 12,7 mm.
W stosunku do pierwowzoru, okręt ma:
- zanurzenie większe o 0,05 m;
- wyporność normalną nawodną większą o
7 t, a podwodną o 8 t;
- prędkość nawodną większą o 0,6 w, a
podwodną o 0,1 w;
- zasięg nawodny większy o 2490 Mm, a
podwodny o 5 Mm;
- operacyjną głębokość
zanurzenia większą o 15 m.
Poniżej opis skrócony opis konstrukcji.
Kadłub
Podwójny, niemal identyczny do typu S42.
Napęd
Dwa diesle o łącznej mocy 1400 KM oraz dwa silniki
elektryczne o łącznej mocy 1200 KM.
Uzbrojenie
- 1xIx4"/50
(10.2 cm) Mark 9, przy
elewacji maksymalnej 20o donośność pociskiem 14,97 kg wynosi 14560m;
- 1xIIx0,50”/90 (12,7 mm) M1921;
-
4xIxwt533 mm z zapasem 12 torped.
Uzyskano
– moim zdaniem wartościowe – całkowicie pełnomorskie okręty podwodne, do „oceaniczności”
brakuje im jednak zasięgu.
