Bilans otwarcia cz.II



Transportowiec wojska typu Babia Góra 1899-1901 (3 szt.)

Teraz bardzo potrzebne z powodu pozyskania nowych kolonii okręty, czyli transportowce wojska. Każdy z nich jest w stanie przewieźć ok. 900 żołnierzy (mniej więcej batalion piechoty z lekką artylerią) z pełnym uzbrojeniem, wyposażeniem i zapasami, łącznie ok. 1350 t ładunku. Na krótszych dystansach ilość przewożonych żołnierzy można zwiększyć. Zwróćcie uwagę na jego zasięg, umożliwia on opłynięcie kuli ziemskie bez korzystania z kanałów z jednym tylko bunkrowaniem. Transportowce będą wykorzystywane w czasie pokoju do „startowego” dostarczenia wojska do kolonii i okresowej wymiany części personelu. W czasie wojny będą mogły dostarczyć posiłki do kolonii lub przerzucić wojsko w dowolne inne miejsce w razie takiej potrzeby. Uzbrojenie ma charakter wyłącznie obronny i nie przewiduję wykorzystania okrętu w roli krążownika pomocniczego. W latach 1899-1901 zbudowano 3 jednostki, w czasie Wielkiej Wojny obyło się bez strat, zresztą nie miały zbyt wielu okazji do aktywności.

Przedstawiam szybkie stawiacze min ukończone w latach 1901-1902, mogące być zakwalifikowane nawet jako krążowniki minowe. W momencie wejścia do służby szybkość pozwalała im uchylić się od walki z silniejszymi przeciwnikami (krążowniki, pancerniki), a uzbrojenie dawało przewagę nad lżejszymi (niszczyciele, torpedowce). Dziś – niestety – okręty nie zasługują już na epitet „szybkie” i za kilka lat czeka je kasacja.

Krążownik pancernopokładowy typu Kołobrzeg 1902-1904 (szt. 2)

Nieduże krążowniki pancernopokładowe sprzed kilkunastu lat. W swoim czasie całkiem przyzwoite jednostki, dziś już niestety przestarzałe. Pozwolimy im dożyć ostatnich kilku lat; być może jeden z nich zostanie zaadaptowany tymczasowo na krążownik szkolny. W latach 1902-1904 powstały 3 okręty tego typu, jeden z nich został utracony w czasie Wielkiej Wojny.

Krążownik liniowy typu Jan III Sobieski 1902 (szt. 1)

Okręt ten został zbudowany jako szybki pancernik i w 1902 roku na przymiotnik „szybki” zasługiwał. Teraz można go klasyfikować najwyżej jako krążownik liniowy, a i to mały i bardzo wolny. Projekt tej jednostki miał charakter trochę eksperymentalny, okręt miał pełnić funkcje zbliżone do późniejszych krążowników liniowych. Głównym jego zadaniem było zwalczanie nieprzyjacielskich krążowników i wojna krążownicza. Nietypowym rozwiązaniem było umieszczenie części artylerii głównej w "wieżo-kazamatach", czyli w wieżach częściowo wbudowanych w nadbudówkę. Dało to możliwość zwiększenia ilości luf artylerii głównej, ale nie najlepsze kąty ostrzału. Nie wiem co z tym okrętem teraz zrobić, są chyba tylko dwa wyjścia: albo będzie z niego hulk mieszkalny, albo mnóstwo żyletek. Na takim samym kadłubie i z takim samym zespołem napędowym został zbudowany drugi „eksperyment”, o którym poniżej.

Krążownik liniowy typu Władysław IV  1902 (szt. 1)

Jak wspomniano wyżej, na takim samym kadłubie i z takim samym zespołem napędowym jak poprzedni okręt, został zbudowany w tym samym roku drugi szybki pancernik. Ten wariant mając mniej liczną, ale silniejszą artylerię główną mógł nawiązać walkę z pancernikami wroga. Podobnie jak Jan Władysław też się już zdeklasował, ale mam dla niego lepsze perspektywy; przebuduję go na pancernik obrony wybrzeża i może jeszcze kilkanaście lat posłuży.

Pierwszy polski typ okrętu podwodnego zdolnego do działania poza Bałtykiem. Z uwagi na możliwe znaczne oddalenie od baz macierzystych, okręty wyposażone są w stosunkowo silną radiostację. Typ charakteryzuje się również dużą prędkością, praktycznie żaden obcy okręt tego okresu nie przekraczał 15 w. prędkości nawodnej. Inspiracją dla jednostek tego typu był amerykański typ K z 1914 roku. W latach 1910-1913 przyjęto do służby 8 jednostek tego typu, Wielką Wojnę przetrwało 5.

  3. Tak, idziemy w prędkość; przypominam założenia doktryny wojennej, w podrozdziale Pożądany charakter jednostek floty w tiret drugim napisano: "maksymalna, możliwa do uzyskania prędkość, umożliwiająca pogoń za jednostką słabszą lub uchylenie się od walki z jednostkami silniejszymi"
    Części otwarcia będzie... nie wiem, chyba więcej niż 5, a mniej niż 10.
