Tankowiec floty typu Łysogóry 1919-1920 (2 szt.)

Ponieważ coraz więcej okrętów naszej floty napędzanych jest paliwem płynnym, koniecznością jest posiadanie jednostek, które są w stanie zaopatrzyć je w paliwo na oddalonych od baz macierzystych akwenach. Posiadanie stosunkowo gęstej sieci baz zaopatrzeniowych może być niewystarczające w okresie wojennym. Zawsze należy się liczyć z utratą tych baz czy to na skutek akcji nieprzyjaciela, czy to z innych powodów. W końcu roku 1918 flota posiada wprawdzie 3 tankowce, ale są to okręty adaptowane i już niemłode. Dlatego też jeszcze w czasie trwania Wojny podjęto decyzję o budowie nowych i wyspecjalizowanych do swych zadań tankowców floty. Są to – jak na owe czasy – duże zbiornikowce mogące przewieźć 6 000 t ropy. Daje to przykładowo ok. 2,5 jednostki załadowania dla największych naszych okrętów  bojowych, czyli krążowników liniowych typu Bolesław Śmiały lub ponad 60 jednostek dla niszczycieli typu Huragan. Ich olbrzymi zasięg – jak sądzę – nie wymaga tłumaczenia. Oprócz zaopatrywania w paliwo okrętów, zbiornikowce mają również zadanie uzupełniania zapasów paliwa w bazach kolonialnych i zaopatrzeniowych. Uzbrojenie jest adekwatne do klasy okrętu i zapewnia także dobrą obronę przeciwlotniczą.

Wcielenie do floty prezentowanych jednostek umożliwiło wycofanie i sprzedaż (marynarce duńskiej) najstarszego z posiadanych zbiornikowców, czyli FT-1 Tatry.

Ścigacz okrętów podwodnych typu Śmiały 1919-1920 (6 szt.)

Następne okręty, których budowa rozpoczęła się jeszcze w czasie Wojny. Prezentowane ścigacze okrętów podwodnych są jednymi z pierwszych na świecie jednostek tej klasy. Nie uwzględniając typów, dla których zwalczanie okrętów podwodnych było tylko jednym z wielu i może nie najważniejszym zadaniem, to wcześniejszy był chyba tylko francuski typ C  z roku 1917. Nasz okręcik posiada bardzo silne – jak na jego wielkość – uzbrojenie przeciwpodwodne tzw. ASW i przyzwoite uzbrojenie artyleryjskie.  Estetów (sam jestem takim zboczeńcem :)) może oburzać nieproporcjonalnie wysoka sylwetka, ale uważam, że w tym przypadku zdecydowanie ważniejsze są właściwości morskie niż „uroda”. Nazwa typu „ścigacz” jest może trochę na wyrost przy ich prędkości, ale z uwagi na konotacje międzynarodowe pozostawiłem ją bez zmian. Okręt przeznaczony jest do działań na Bałtyku, do walki z okrętami podwodnymi na oceanach konieczne będą większe jednostki (są planowane!).
