Zaopatrzeniowiec typu Belitung



Zaopatrzeniowiec typu Belitung 1919-1921 (3 szt.)

Może kogoś zdziwi masowy „wysyp” okrętów pomocniczych w tym roku, ma to jednak swoje uzasadnienie. Po prostu w czasie wojny preferowano budowę jednostek bojowych, a teraz nadrabiane są zaległości w dziedzinie logistycznego zabezpieczenia floty.
Prezentowana jednostka została zaprojektowana do roli zaopatrzeniowca floty z możliwością pełnienia funkcji krążownika pomocniczego w czasie wojny. Bardzo silna konstrukcja i stosunkowo silne uzbrojenie (w tym przeciwlotnicze) predestynuje ją również do ewentualnej roli tzw. łamacza blokady. Zaopatrzeniowiec jest w stanie dostarczyć ponad 2 000 t amunicji, żywności, słodkiej wody, części zamiennych itp. w praktycznie dowolne miejsce na oceanach. Znakomita dzielność morska pozwala mu działać w każdych warunkach pogodowych. Obok, a także w czasie pełnienia podstawowej funkcji, okręt może zupełnie dobrze wykonywać zadania krążownika pomocniczego (w tym celu przewidziano znaczną prędkość maksymalną). Przykładowy scenariusz: wioząc zaopatrzenie do kolonii przecinamy liczne szlaki żeglugowe wroga z dużymi szansami na napotkanie potencjalnej ofiary, wracając do kraju możemy bardziej aktywnie zapolować nawet w pewnym oddaleniu od  najkrótszej drogi powrotnej.
Nazwy zaopatrzeniowców nawiązują do niektórych z naszych kolonii.
W związku z tym, że coraz mniej kotłów okrętowych opalanych jest węglem,  a także z powodu zużycia, skreślony z listy floty (i dość korzystnie sprzedany) został węglowiec CS-1Karpaty.

Krążownik minowy typu Posejdon



Krążownik minowy typu Posejdon 1919 (1 szt.)

Ponieważ dwa klasyfikowane obecnie jako krążowniki minowe stawiacze min typu Tryton mocno się zestarzały, rozpoczęto jeszcze w czasie wojny budowę nowego, szybkiego krążownika minowego.
Okręt wielkością, uzbrojeniem i prędkością dorównuje krążownikom lekkim, a dodatkowo zabiera na pokład do 300 min wz. 1908. W odróżnieniu od klasycznych lekkich krążowników jednostka nie posiada uzbrojenia torpedowego i jest trochę słabiej opancerzona, za to dysponuje bardzo silnym jak na owe czasy uzbrojeniem przeciwlotniczym. Dzięki silnemu uzbrojeniu, a przede wszystkim dużej szybkości, Posejdon może stawiać również aktywne (ofensywne) zagrody minowe na wodach nieprzyjaciela. Z uwagi na brak opancerzenia pokładów minowych, ewentualna walka artyleryjska z równorzędnym przeciwnikiem (przed pozbyciem się min) wiąże się ze zbyt dużym ryzykiem, dlatego też taktyka polegać będzie raczej na wykorzystywaniu szybkości celem uchylenia się od takiej walki.
