Okręt podwodny typu Tuńczyk



Okręt podwodny typu Tuńczyk 1921-1922 (6 szt.)

Ponieważ nasz flota podwodna stała się mocno „przeterminowana”, przyszedł czas na jej unowocześnienie, co niniejszym czynię. Prezentowane jednostki są okrętami pełnomorskimi z silnym uzbrojeniem torpedowym (6 wyrzutni + 4 torpedy zapasowe) i artyleryjskim. Prędkość i zasięg są również na zadowalającym poziomie. W sumie – jak sądzę powinny stanowić wartościowy zespół floty.
W związku z wprowadzeniem do służby omawianych jednostek, wycofano obydwa bardzo mocno zużyte okręty typu Okoń. Jako, że nie znaleziono dla nich nabywcy (co wcale nie dziwi), zostały przekazane na złom. Rolę szkolnego okrętu podwodnego przejął w tej sytuacji najstarszy okręt typu Łosoś.

Holownik typu Żubr



Holownik typu Żubr 1921 (2 szt.)

Pierwszymi oddanymi w roku 1921 okrętami są pełnomorskie holowniki z dodatkową funkcją ratowniczą. Do głównych zadań tych jednostek należy: dalekie holowanie, ściąganie okrętów z mielizn, gaszenie pożarów oraz odwadnianie zalanych kadłubów. Do tych celów okręty zostały wyposażone m.in. w silne maszyny, armatki wodne oraz zestaw wydajnych pomp pożarowych i odwadniających. Przewiduje się włączanie tych holowników do osłony konwojów szczególnie narażonych na przeciwdziałanie wroga.
Jednostki charakteryzują się wysoką dzielnością morską, znacznym zasięgiem oraz dużą siłą uciągu „na palu” Uzbrojenie jest symboliczne, adekwatne go charakteru wykonywanych zadań.
Znowu zwraca uwagę zawyżona odporność okrętu na trafienia. Dla uzyskania wartości realnych proszę dzielić tę odporność przez wartość „hull strength overall”, przeważnie się to sprawdza.
